Grab cloud kitchen singapore. The Singapore companys first foray into cloud kitchens came in Indonesia. Singapore 2 October 2020 Grab Singapore today announced the official launch of its second GrabKitchen in Singapore. Located in Aljunied the new kitchen is the 56 th GrabKitchen regionally making Grab one of the largest operators of cloud kitchen facilities in Southeast Asia.
The first cloud kitchen in Singapore opens today with more to come in the first half of 2020. From there it expanded into Vietnam Thailand and Singapore. After a successful year in Indonesia since its pilot kicked off in September 2018 GrabFood is now expanding GrabKitchen its network of cloud.
GrabKitchen joined the rapidly expanding list of kitchen providers establishing ten new restaurants including three virtual restaurants at their cloud kitchen in Hillview in northwest Singapore. Its launch has driven the total number of such kitchens managed by the company to 50 in the region. GrabFood has launched its first cloud kitchen in Singapore following in the footsteps of Foodpanda and Deliveroo.
According to a statement Grab has 50 cloud kitchens across five Southeast Asian markets to date including Indonesia Vietnam and Thailand. Besides SCK there are 10 multiuser cloud kitchen facilities in Singapore run by third parties such as Deliveroo Foodpanda and GrabFood that are currently or soon to be in operation says Ms Yeoh Mei Ling director of the food services division at Enterprise Singapore. GrabKitchen offers merchant-partners an experimental platform to introduce new food concepts and brands with significantly reduced risks.

Grab is also planning to launch more cloud kitchens. Grab has opened its first cloud kitchen in Singapore as part of its expansion of GrabKitchen across five Southeast Asian countries. Its latest Singapore central kitchen facility based in Hillview hosts over 10 FB brands including three new virtual restaurants and serves the western part of Singapore.
