Overall Id recommend Ikea cabinets to everyone. IKEA cabinets are completely modular and with some creative thinking it is astonishing how adaptable they really are when it comes to design. Honestly if you build supportive frames as opposed to simply hanging them and using the cheap little legs underneath the carcasses as well as a few other things they seem to hold up a lot better.

IKEA looks beautiful but be warned the beauty doesnt last I have lived in 2 homes that had preexisting IKEA kitchens when I moved in. On both kitchens the veneer on the drawers and cabinets started to chip crack and fall apart. The ikea cabinets beat home depots stock cabinets hands down in just about every category except availability at the time.
